Monitoring and Evaluation

The continuous monitoring of projects ensures that the project plan is implemented according to specification so that the project objectives are met, the project is delivered within the required timeframes, the costs are within the stipulated budget, the required quality is achieved, and the project members and stakeholders are managed optimally. Monitoring identifies potential risks and creates opportunities to institute corrective actions. Projects are evaluated to determine the results and overall impact of the project in relation to the intended objectives.
