Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Product Management Instructor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have substantial industry experience in product management and a proven track record of teaching or mentoring in this field. As an instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, developing course materials, and guiding students through the comprehensive curriculum of our Product Management Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development and Delivery:
- Design, update, and deliver course content that aligns with industry standards and the evolving landscape of product management.
- Incorporate practical insights and real-world case studies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Instruction and Facilitation:
- Conduct engaging lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions covering topics such as customer insights, product opportunity analysis, business model design, financial analysis, product planning, go-to-market strategies, agile development, and more.
- Utilise diverse teaching methodologies to cater to various learning styles.
- Student Mentorship and Assessment:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their professional growth and understanding of product management principles.
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, offering constructive feedback to support their development.
- Industry Engagement:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in product management to ensure the curriculum remains current and relevant.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals to facilitate guest lectures, workshops, and potential collaboration opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant Product Management certification is preferred.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management roles, with a demonstrated history of successful product launches and lifecycle management.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience in academic or professional settings is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles, data analytics, agile methodologies, and relevant product management tools.
- Communication Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences effectively.
