Academic’s Roles and responsibilities
- Observe academic facilitators’ performance according to set criteria.
- Engage with facilitators from a range of different backgrounds and on various subjects.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development practitioners and other related staff to ensure the successful implementation of a flipped classroom approach, lesson plans, classroom management, and engagement techniques.
- Review classroom activities, take notes, and write up reports as a support function to the Learning and Development unit.
- Observe facilitators and facilitation sessions to ensure a high standard of quality is maintained as part of the facilitators’ personal development process.
- Support the Learning and Development unit to equip academics to acquire innovative teaching and learning techniques and approaches to create a unique “Regenesys magic” in their online and face-to-face classes that will give Regenesys a substantial competitive advantage.
Credentials, Experience & Skills
- Masters (Advantageous), Post Graduate degree or diploma or B-degree in a relevant field (Adult/Tertiary Education and Learning, Human Resources, Psychology)
- Possesses experience as a facilitator at tertiary level
- Possesses experience in the online teaching environment
- Has a knowledge of online teaching methodologies
- Proven track record in a similar role – at least 3 years’ experience
- A valid driver’s license or own reliable transport
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook, MS TEAMs and Excel (must be computer proficient)
- Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
- Passionate about learning

- Available to observe academics and tutors facilitate in the evenings and Saturdays
