Event Overview
The Digital Revolution is having an unprecedented impact on the future of work, people and learning. The banking sector, being an industry that relies heavily on technology, is not spared but rather embracing the change at many levels.

As Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning become prevalent across various departments, current jobs are getting threatened, and new ones are being created at the same time, effectively changing the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the future banking workforce.

Consequently, HR professionals have to find new ways to manage talent – attract, develop, reward and retain, and to inspire passion, innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and excellence. To succeed in this rapidly changing industry, they must embrace the change, continuously learn and stay ahead of the game.

Event Outcomes
The forum will address and help you understand the future role of HR in the banking industry and the challenges faced in this new Digital Age. By attending this forum, you will learn all you need to know about HR in the banking industry and the role it will play in reshaping the future.

You will also get to understand the recommended approaches which management is required to implement as they strive to pair humans with intelligent machines. The extent to which such a partnership succeeds will determine if the bank will survive and thrive – or die slowly.

You will learn that the most effective HR leaders in the banking industry will be those that can master the art of balancing the need for labour and elasticity with the constant drive towards increased productivity and innovation.

Furthermore, you will understand that an HR strategy for banking must reflect the future landscape, of which an increasingly important factor is automation. The discussion will unveil what the future holds, a reality which points to the fact that increasingly intelligent machines will redefine the need for human intervention and could contemplate an uncertain career where machines will replace men and women.

The forum will consist of several participants who will each discuss a particular aspect of the future challenges and opportunities HR professionals in the banking industry should anticipate.

The audience will then get an opportunity to direct questions to the forum members, and as a result, attendees will get their most pressing questions answered.
