The National Certificate: IT End User Computing NQF Level 3 (135 credits) is a 12- month certificate which provides skills that will enable learners to become competent in End User Computing. The qualification consists of:
Pre-Assessment: Pre-assessment of proposed learners is undertaken to identify current qualifications and experience and may result in reduced contact training sessions.
Contact Training Sessions: Ten (10) contact training sessions of approx. four(4) days each = 40.5 days, for comprehensive training – either inexperienced learners or those who do not qualify for RPL.
RPL: Learners may qualify for RPL on specified unit standards – as per SAQA & SETA regulations.
Non-contact duration: Learners will be required to invest the necessary additional hours per module on additional reading, on job practical assignments, and Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) building, with the support of the supervisor and/or coach. A workplace log will be completed in this regard.

Demonstrate an understanding of applying Graphical User Interface (GUI)-based Word Processing Application skills in the Workplace.
Demonstrate an understanding of applying Graphical User Interface (GUI)-based Presentation Application skills in the Workplace.
Demonstrate an understanding of applying GUI-based Spreadsheet Application skills in the Workplace.
Demonstrate an understanding of applying GUI-based Electronic Mail Application skills in the Workplace.
Demonstrate an understanding of applying GUI-based Web Browser Application skills in the Workplace.
Improve communication by combining communication skills with End User Computing skills
Improve the application of mathematical literacy in the workplace by better-utilising End User Computing applications
Demonstrate an understanding of the use of Information Communications & Technology (ICT) in an organisation and the impact it has on societies
This programme is accredited by the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and training Authority (MICT SETA).
On completion, the following certification will be awarded:
A MICT SETA National Certificate: IT End User Computing (NQF Level 3) will be awarded to all delegates who successfully complete all portfolio requirements; or
A MICT SETA Statement of Results will be awarded to all delegates who successfully complete some, but not all, of the modules’ portfolio requirements. The Statement of Results will only reflect the modules successfully completed; or
A Regenesys Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to all delegates who attended all training sessions, but who do not complete any portfolio requirements successfully.
