Policy Management

Managers confront endless challenges as they strive to implement their policies within their organisations. Despite numerous policies being developed, change is often not incorporated into the organisation successfully. The challenge of policy implementation is universal and is faced in most organisations.

The reasons for unsuccessful policy implementation are many and extremely complex. The success of policy implementation in achieving policy purposes will depend on the participant’s awareness, knowledge, and ability to manage a web of these interdependent forces, stakeholders and processes successfully.

The programme primarily focuses on equipping participants with the ability to contribute to policy formulation and development in a meaningful, informed way, and to ultimately influence policy implementation in the organisation.
