Knowledge Management

The purpose of this course is to allow participants to identify and solve problems in relation to managing knowledge in a unit. Participants will be able to analyse current knowledge management practices, interpret and consolidate their findings in a report with recommendations on improvements. They will further be able to develop a knowledge management implementation plan for a business unit.

Upon completing this course, you should be able to:

Understand the concepts and components of managing knowledge within an organisation;

Explain the driving forces of the knowledge economy

Analyse current knowledge management practices of a business unit

Review organisational knowledge management practices and procedures

Make recommendations of knowledge management practices for a business unit

Develop a knowledge management implementation plan for a unit


This course is accredited by the Services Sector Education and Training Authority (Services SETA). On completion, the following certification will be awarded:

A Services SETA Statement of Results will be awarded to all delegates who successfully the unit standards’ portfolio requirements. The Statement of Results will only reflect the unit standards successfully completed; or

A Regenesys Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to all delegates who attended all training sessions, but who do not complete any portfolio requirements successfully.
