This course examines the importance of ICT in management, investigates problems related to the integration of ICT in business processes, and determines the potential of ICT to improve customer relationship management.

This course will benefit individuals and decision-makers who do not have a background in ICT or those who need to be kept abreast of the latest ICT trends and refresh their knowledge.

Exit Level Outcomes

Upon completing this course, you should be able to:

Develop an advanced understanding of the role and importance of information and communication technology in management

Evaluate international trends in using ICT to improve business performance and the quality of service

Interrogate key challenges of integrating ICT with business processes and management systems

Conceptualise, develop and implement a technology-driven customer relations strategy

Justify the potential use and application of databases, call centres and web-based technologies in improving customer relations management (CRM)

Evaluate the utilisation of ICT in improving business effectiveness and efficiency


A Certificate of Competence will be awarded to all participants who successfully submit and pass their assignments, and exams*

A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to all who successfully submit and pass their assignments

A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to all who attended the training session

On successful completion of this short learning programme, the participant may be considered for exemption from the equivalent course in the respective qualification, provided that he or she meets qualification entrance criteria. Exemption fees may apply.
