Action Planning

This course is based in simple project management principles. It allows participants to scope, plan, develop, measure and review simple work-based projects. The principles of project management is used to explain the concept of action planning within the work environment.

Exit Level Outcomes

Upon completing this course, you should be able to:

Select a work-based project;

Scope the goals and objectives of the work-based project;

Develop a simple work-based project plan;

Identify tools to measure the work-based project activities;

Develop an action plan to implement the goals and objectives of the work-based project;

Develop performance parameters for the work-based project;

Implement and monitor the project progress;

Evaluate and review a work-based project.


This course is accredited by the Services Sector Education and Training Authority (Services SETA). On completion, the following certification will be awarded:

A Services SETA Statement of Results will be awarded to all delegates who successfully the unit standards’ portfolio requirements. The Statement of Results will only reflect the unit standards successfully completed; or

A Regenesys Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to all delegates who attended all training sessions, but who do not complete any portfolio requirements successfully.
