The purpose of competitive strategy is to build a distinctive and sustainable competitive advantage over an organisation’s rivals.

This Advanced Competitive Strategy course will help you to develop a strategy for business growth and deepen your understanding of the way your business works and its position relative to other businesses in its market.

This course will benefit middle- and senior managers, strategists, executives, project and programme managers, entrepreneurs, change agents and individuals who are responsible for formulating and implementing organisational strategy.

General information

The Regenesys MBA will assist you to achieve your personal and organisational goals by providing you with a career development generalist programme focussing on leadership through strategic management. The programme is designed to assist you solve intricate business problems in an ethical and sustainable manner by making informed decisions through the use of information and data in an innovative and scientific manner. In addition, the programme will empower you to communicate with specialist and non-specialist audiences. From an organisational perspective, the MBA will equip you with an advanced understanding and knowledge of the strategic interrelationship between the organisation’s internal and external environments, as it responds to changes and trends. The MBA is geared to promote independent thinking, self-direction and autonomous behaviour in planning and implementing solutions for organisations.

Duration: 2-day, 3-evening course contact time including facilitation and group activities

Eligibility

NQL Level 4 qualificaions ( e.g. Matric excemption) and basic computer skill.

Structure

The National Certificate: Public Administration NQF Level 3 (157 credits) is a 12-month qualification which contributes to the development of information technology, communications, writing, and service delivery competencies.

The qualification consists of five (4) modules and a Final Integrated Summative Assessment (FISA)

A Certificate of Competence will be awarded to all participants who successfully submit and pass their assignments, and exams*

A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to all who successfully submit and pass their assignments

On successful completion of this short learning programme, the participant may be considered for exemption from the equivalent course in the respective qualification, provided that he or she meets qualification entrance criteria. Exemption fees may apply.
